The Pride Institute was a shining beacon of hope for many of us in the LGBTQ community. Pride was the place that taught us we were deserving of real love and real lives. Since this amazing enterprise was absorbed into Foundations Minnesota, I'm sick to say, The Pride Institute as we knew it, is gone. No longer are we encouraged to share our struggles and feelings with our peers to build community, now it's all worksheets and parroting. Such a loss to the community. I am shattered.

If you are looking for an intimate, inclusive, community-fostering LGBTQ+ treatment center, this is the place. The staff is wonderful and extremely caring for the clients. I have been able to connect with a community of recovering queer people that have become close friends. Thank you, Pride **update Pride institute was a beacon of hope for lqbtq people struggling. Shame on UHS for closing it

Their public excuse, blaming the “changing landscape” (KSTP report), is corporate code for “it got too inconvenient to keep doing what’s ... read more

I love pride. I’ve had some really good experiences here. But being kicked out as a trans girl one day before I can get into sober living and telling them I had absolutely no where to go and them not caring AS A TRANS girl, rubbed me the wrong way. This place has went 85% down hill since TODD left. Howie is not helpful the ceo doesn’t even show his face or involved whatsoever. There’s a trailer outside where you shower because the shower being remodeled had worms coming out of the drain, told by a staff member. All the staff... read more

I was run off the road had women and men in my life nowhere to go and they gave me a place to stay. In a little bit of a future going forward but I just didn't know where to go bewildered because no matter what I do I was dead but at least there I get a little chance of a little life that was full to some extent I should have grabbed them more but it didn't know what to do thanks for being there
