They are quick and friendly on responses. However, $70 to send someone out to just give you an annual service estimate does not give you comfort from their 47 years of experience.
I've had a mostly great experience with Pride. I used them to replace our condo AC unit. Their customer service is excellent. There were 2 of issues after the install (hence the 4 star rating)... I think they used a subcontractor as he didn't have their uniform...but their response has been great and the issues were addressed promptly. Junior just fixed one of the issues and he was great! They also followed up on the warranty registration and the city permit inspection. I definitely recommend them.
I highly praise the work of technician Jacob Jones. He is extremely diligent and understands all the details of HVAC.
Update below bad review: We had service yesterday and the technician clearly does not know what he is doing. We now have water leaking from the unit in our garage, which was not happening when he got here. Too bad Esteban has gone on to govt work. He is the best. We are going to go with another company. I feel that another technician should come out and fix what the one yesterday broke, at no additional charge! We were charged $200 for basically nothing. Roderick came to unclog my sink and tub in the guest bathroom. He did a thorough job vacuuming the lines not just pulling out the obvious hair that slowed the drains. Arrived on time and cleaned up the area!
