My family delayed our sons surgery for weeks waiting for results from the Malignant Hyperthermia Susceptibility Panel. When the results arrived, even out doctor apologized. Who knew that their results would come back with a disclaimer saying that the test was not 100% accurate. It was an even further disappointment to hear that the American Society of Anesthesiologists did not consider this testing as credible. Guess we got duped.
