Bad Business 101 Ordered a Prestige spa cover in May of 2012. We upgraded to a cover that has fiberglass sheet for strength and durability. We paid $579 and replaced our old cover (5 yrs old) with this new more expensive cover. By August 2012 the cover vinyl is splitting where the fiberglass is cutting through in many places, corners and on the sides. After 3 phone calls and threat of legal action, we received information on how to file "warranty" which we have filed with no response after 2 weeks. So a total of 3 months use... read more
spa cover I bought a cover from them and within less than two years it started to sink in the middle. Called the warranty dept. and the "warranty" is set up for you to pay for a new cover along with shipping. So really not a warranty and that shows that they do not stand behind their product. Their web page says that they have a 3 -5 year warranty against water absorption, but the terms of the warranty are not on the web site, you have to ask them for it. Penny P. Our cover was ordered just over a year ago.....it is literally falling apart...we have had no satisfaction from the company other than an offer to purchase a new outside cover. They say chemical damage, however we have had our hot tub for 12 years and only replaced the previous cover because the top was faded. We know how to take care of our hot tub and covers. We have not changed the brom tabs we use and have NEVER had this problem. I would never ever recommend buying from Prestige or ordering through the Cover Guy... read more

Owning a spa myself for over 10 years, if your cover started to sag in the middle in under 2 years, it is because you allow snow/ice/tree limbs/leaves and other debris to collect and rest on your cover (I see you live in Ohio, so these are the issues in your area), not due to poor product quality. A responsible spa/hot tub owner knows they must take care of the cover by keeping it cleaned off and treated just as you do the dashboard in your car. Prestige Spa Covers not well made. Just received my new cover from Prestige Spa Covers and I am not satisfied at all. The workmanship is poor at best. Out of the box I noticed that it was not nearly as well made as the original cover that came with our tub and lasted for 7 years. For example there were no steam stoppers at each end of the hinge. Instead they extend the hinge insulation strip out to the end of the cover so when the cover is closed there is a gap where heat can escape rather than having a soft pliable foam fil... read more
Shady warranty We received our spa almost a year ago, and about 6 month into it, we started noticing water absorption, so much so, that when we would open the spa, you would hear the water pouring out of it. mold and miLdew started showing up, discoloration, and making the spa extremely acidic and "bubbly". In my opinion, a spa cover should be designed to repel water, not absorb it, and my understanding is, it should also be designed to withstand he harshness of chemicals because of the fact that it covers water in a hot tub... read more
Lorna S we live in Michigan and got our cover in very good time. The cover is much thicker and lighter in weight than the one we had bought 6 years ago for the same amount of money. The old one (different Make) sunk in the middle and got very heavy. Hopefully this one will stand up to the Michigan winters
Prestige Spa Covers piece of junk These covers are the cheapest made I've ever seen. I've owned hot tubs for 25 years. The cover is literally disintegrating from the inside, the foam is actually crumbling and shrinking. This caused the top of the cover to hold water and subsequently cave into the water of the hot tub. After a month of sending them pictures they have denied my warranty claim. The worst company I worked for this company for over five years, and one day I was fired for no reason, they hire undocumented people and treat them like animals, the owner is a very ruthless dictator and he did not care about anything just to fill his pockets with money no matter what he has to do to get it, basically that factory is slavery of the 21st century, product quality is very bad, because the owner does not care about his customers, only cares about having more money every day.
