Had apparently a somewhat precarious situation with my lower wisdom teeth, but had absolutely no complications and pulling all 4 took less than 40min!
Excellent experience that was fully worth the insured cost over a less expensive dental school practice. Receptionists were not in a greeting mood, which was fine as I had headphones in and said the first word. Receptionists likely cannot see patients coming into the door, but likely as they are parking and waking to the office. I felt comfortable with the doctor's youth and similarly informal explanation and relationship. Training and history with other practices helped when doing my research. I had one consult appointment in January for 3:30pm. I am usually early so I was there at 3:15. No one greeted me and a young lady was on the phone in a somewhat heated conversation with another patient about a bill. That should not be part of the waiting room. When nothing happened and no-one said anything, around 4:10, I decided I would leave. Just about then, someone took me to the back. Went in to get all my wisdom teeth removed at once. The procedure took no longer then 45min and the days following the procedure were a breeze with minimal swelling and discomfort. I recommend Dr. Erakat and his team to all my friends and family.
They took all the guess work out of the experience. Explained the procedure and insurance thoroughly.

Dr. Erakat is an excellent, highly personable oral surgeon who was trained at the best US schools. California-born, his sunny personality is a pleasure to be around and certainly calms the pre-procedure nerves. My case was especially difficult, but he "made it work" efficiently and effectively.
