Very beautiful foyer tasteful and clean - that all changes when one turns the corner to rooms. Dirty carpets and musty. But like Mexico they just smile as you wonder about your hammock shaped bed. Tv system from the 90s, expensive mediocre food …. Ummm first time last time

We got an ocean view room and it was so quiet and well maintained. Gorgeous bathrooms, with a nice separate room for the toilet and even a TV in each bathroom so you can take a bath and watch tv. The only thing I wish they could change is the hot tub which was actually a cold jet tub. But otherwise loved our stay. They give you a $10 voucher per person if you’re willing to forgo room keeping services, which you can use in their restaurant, bar, or cafe. I feel like this is the best place you can stay in Sooke. Beautiful place right off the water. They have their own dock and boat launch. They are a kid friendly hotel. Rooms were good. We opted out of the daily housekeeping. In turn we got $20 voucher which was pretty cool. We still got fresh towels when we went to the front desk and asked for them. The on-site restaurant was good as well. Food is a west coast menu.
