Warning: hotel for families only. If you’re coming with kids it’ll be great. If not, stay somewhere else. Super noisy even inside the room and the hotel pool is small and flooded with kids. We tried both restaurants and the 1409 we did a take out. We got soup and they didn’t have spoons for it and didn’t offer to have us take real spoons. On the positive the beds were comfortable, the view of the lake is nice from the balcony, and they have Ebikes, bikes, paddle boards to rent for free.
Very good resort
Wow. I was not expecting how much me and my family would love this resort! And it truly is a resort more than a hotel — the amenities were exceptional, including a huge state of the art gym, and indoor/outdoor pool & hot tub, really great pub, cafe, & restaurant. The rooms are huge & we had a kitchen & balcony, which we enjoyed. It sits on a bird sanctuary wetland & right next to a gorgeous park with long boardwalk & a sweet little ice cream shop at the end (with a lovely lady who made my daughter a homemade sorbet).
