After the alternator was changed on my 2009 Mercedes E550 the rear speakers developed a loud static. I took my vehicle to Prestige Audio Customs located at 215 South Raymond Avenue, Alhambra, CA. The technician said he taught it was the amplifier that was causing static. He said the only way to order a new or use amplifier was to remove the old amplifier and check the part number and the manufacturer. The technician removed to manufacturer was Harmon Becker.
