My dad has early onset Alzheimer’s. Growing up, we couldn’t go anywhere without him running into someone he knew and of course he had to chat with them forever. My mom was his caretaker for a long time and as his Alzheimer’s got worse he became more and more reclusive, just playing games on his tablet, not engaging in what was going on around him. My mother was at Prestige Rehabilitation in Richland WA for approximately 4 weeks. I could not wait to get her out of there. Very few of the employees ever smiled, and the caregivers appeared stressed and tired. The lighting in a facility may seem unimportant, but at Prestige everything and everyone appeared grey. In general, I have very little positive things to say about Prestige Rehabilitation in Richland Washington.
