We moved into Old Tappan NJ in mid October 2023 and the seller replaced the Boiler in the basement and 2 new AC Trane Units outside and HVAC system in attic. When we moved we put NEST Thermostat 3rd Generation units all over. Big mistake. The NEST thermostats work well when you only have "heat" or "cold" run by each unit separately. When heat and cold connected to same NEST thermostat, you run into major voltage and run issues.
