I’ve been going to Prestera for 3 years. Even when I moved to Parkersburg I continued my treatment at Prestera in point pleasant because of the quality of treatment I receive there. My counselor Bethany is absolutely amazing, the person that did my intake was so informative and my psychiatrist Jaime that prescribes my meds is the best psychiatrist I have ever had in the 12 years of treatment that I have had from several different places. It's been a lot to handle dealing with Prestera Health. They mixed two records together, and when I called to address it, they said they couldn't delete it from my record. How can they not fix an intake that wasn't even mine?! It's really sickening to think about all the lives affected by these types of mix-ups. The only reason I found out was because I requested my records, and the lady upfront handed them to me. Then she called, practically begging me to return and sign the papers. Lack of doctor accountability and oversight. Don’t expect to receive help if one of their doctors cause harm to you or a loved one.
Prestera is the absolute worse place in Point Pleasant to get help for mental health.
