Have nothing but great things to say about this place! I didn't get the black lady's name who did my intake on Thursday but she was AMAZING, and so was Kodara Wade who did my psych eval today! Thank you for working a Saturday and taking the time to see me! Those ladies were super friendly and personable! They both should get raises!!! ☺️
Prestera is a wonderful mental health organization that serves the state of WV. As a CCBHC they pride themselves in giving quality care to every individual who walks through the door. There are programs that can assist with anything from severe mental health issues to social needs such as housing, and obtaining food stamps. Each department works together as a team and coordinates with other departments to ensure continuity and competent care.
I absolutely won't go anywhere else. I feel love at Prestera. The staff and the new intake team are great. They understand me and know what I need. I love it. I will mention a few names that have helped me: Kristina Clark, Sandra Brown and Lora Morehead and Sean Riley. The are the best. I'm serious, they are great!!
Today is July 10, 2025. I have called 137 times (no exaggeration) just to speak with my provider. The front desk answers and then sends to me a voicemail that is full, so I can't even leave a message. Unfortunately, getting a hold of anyone is nearly impossible. I don't recommend this place if you actually give a damn about your mental health.
