I’ve been coming to Prestera since it was Shawnee Hills back in the 90’s. It’s changed a lot over the years, but now in 2026 I come to Prestera Health Services for therapy and now they’re like, “hey, want a primary care provider too?” At this point I’m convinced they’re trying to fix all of me and honestly… I respect the ambition 😂 The therapists are amazing though. Have nothing but great things to say about this place! I didn't get the black lady's name who did my intake on Thursday but she was AMAZING, and so was Kodara Wade who did my psych eval today! Thank you for working a Saturday and taking the time to see me! Those ladies were super friendly and personable! They both should get raises!!! ☺️
Prestera is a wonderful mental health organization that serves the state of WV. As a CCBHC they pride themselves in giving quality care to every individual who walks through the door. There are programs that can assist with anything from severe mental health issues to social needs such as housing, and obtaining food stamps. Each department works together as a team and coordinates with other departments to ensure continuity and competent care.
I absolutely won't go anywhere else. I feel love at Prestera. The staff and the new intake team are great. They understand me and know what I need. I love it. I will mention a few names that have helped me: Kristina Clark, Sandra Brown and Lora Morehead and Sean Riley. The are the best. I'm serious, they are great!!
