The service was amazing. The hostess and the waiting staff were very kind, pleasant, and helpful. The place itself is very cozy. Soft candlelight. Calm music. Books on the wall. Just an overall lovely place. Onto the main attraction: The Food. Everything was delicious. I had the rack of lamb and my wife had the parchment baked rockfish which was a special for the night. The price was not bad for a lovely and memorable night for 2.
First time at the Press Room in Shepherdstown. Fantastic meal, oysters fresh as can be ( all kinds), service was welcoming and just the right amount of attention! Ribeye, soft shell crabs and dessert all generous portions and delicious. Went there for an anniversary dinner and will definitely return. Thank you for a perfect table as well!
Great food and great service
Bro this place was fancy ah and had some really good lamb. My only complaint is that the seating was a little tight, but everything else was on spot.
What went well?? Everything! But most of all Angie the bar tender/server! By far the best service we've had in a long time! She was welcoming, friendly and an extremely hard worker!!! Thank you Angie for such a nice dinner experience! We had reservations at another local restaurant but we were disappointed that restaurant was closed. So we google searched and found Press room!
