If you have BARBARA as your healthcare provider, I grieve for you. — I entered answers that somehow deemed me highly depressed on their survey before you enter an appointment, and instead of handling a supposed suicidal teen with the tact and care necessary, she asked me, “do you not want o be happy?” Really, really tell me what you think the obvious answer to that is. Looks like a lot of mixed reviews here from other users over the years... Lately my experiences have been excellent. The staff are all super friendly, helpful, and gracious, even when I showed up over 10 min late to one of my appointments. All good things about the Pharmacy, too. Navigating Healthcare and insurance can be a nightmare, (especially with the lengthy referral process) but the clinic on POM does their very best to help facilitate in any way they can.
If I could give this place a zero, I would. Multiple times they have allowed me to book appointments to then tell me at my third time that they don't take Tricare Select Reserve... I wished they would have communicated sooner. When I booked a hearing test with them they uploaded to my portal another soldiers medical record/ personal information to include social, address, and information. I want all service members to be more informed and not stressed about their healthcare!
Over 2 hours wait is not uncommon. Be prepared to have your time wasted and to deal with loud annoying children's cartoons on the needless tv with no present children while you wait.
