St Mary's has always given me great service !
Recently had to have a cat scan with contrast, the young lady Margarita was so very helpful, and explained everything to me in detail!!! I unfortunately didn’t get the young man’s name, I don’t always hear everything but he wheeled me to the elevator which saved me a lot of steps. Both of them are an asset to the hospital, makes taking tests more pleasant.
I had 2 radiology appointments today, my first time at St. Mary's. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and communicative. The techs who did my imaging had great bedside manner and made sure all my questions were answered. Even my call a few weeks ago to schedule my appointment was one of the best medical scheduling interactions I've had!

The Infections Disease doctor attempted to keep me admitted for 3 weeks straight for observation on routine antibiotic treatment, despite there being other options (at-home administration, third party clinics) and didn't come to explain why, despite me continuing to ask. I had to pay out of pocket to transfer to Northwestern Medical and they got me out of the hospital in 3 days with standard at-home treatment using antibiotics.
