I had a total knee replacement a little over 2 weeks ago at the Edgewater surgery center. Being an active surgeon within the hospital myself, I asked Dr. Shook to save the date and please be my anesthesiologist. I did so because I have known him for decades and he has always impressed me as a brilliant and caring professional. Besides being board certified, he is a Duke trained cardiac anesthesiologist.
