I’ve been seeing Dr. Prendeville for over 10 years, since my ulcerative colitis diagnosis. I credit him with saving me from having my colon removed. Maybe even saving my life. He’s compassionate and careful with his prognoses and care
I saw Prendiville for high levels of ferritin. He insisted I do a liver biopsy. When I told him I had gotten a second opinion he laughed at me. I also told him I wondered (since I also did genetic testing to diagnose hemochromatosis and I carry one marker not both) why can’t I take the path of least resistance and just give blood. His answer as he peered at me over his glasses was that we needed a definitive answer. I have never felt so judged by a doctor. Beware.
