The program was initiated in response to an identified community need to improve access to Prenatal and Well Baby care for women and children in our community who do not have a family physician. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at this clinic. A week and a half ago, our newborn's check-up was cancelled because the nurse was a no-show. Understanding the situation, we rescheduled for today. This morning, we were running 7 minutes late and tried multiple times to contact the clinic to inform them. We couldn’t reach anyone. When we arrived, the receptionist of South Asian descent rudely and immediately turned us away, saying we had missed our appointment.
