An abandoned kitten I took in was playing with his sibling and received a small scratch on his left eye. Within hours the infection was present and the eye severely swollen. I took my little Buju to the Premier Pet Emergency Clinic in Monroe, LA. They cleaned the eye and then charged me $180 for the visit and 2 different medications. They didn't bother to treat the cat with those medications at all. Useless and worthless business and people. It seems that human decency is a lost cause here.

We were visiting family in west Texas when our dog, who was already being picky with food (which he normally isn’t) started refusing food completely. Dr. Copeland and her staff saved my cat’s life! He was such a sick boy and she took great care of him. She kept me up-to-date on how he was doing, blood test results, etc and I am so thankful for her kindness and expertise!
not sure how well they take care of animals, as we were there over an hour and never got seen by any kind of dr. We showed the receptionist our dog and that we thought he'd been hit by a car, with a large cut on his head and a swollen and bloody eye. They put us in a room and said a tech would be with us shortly, but that never happened, so we left. Now we're at a different vet and they brought our dog straight in.
