I was referred here by my Orthopedic doctor for herniated discs in my lumbar spine that were preventing me from doing my daily activities without severe pain. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating when I made a new patient appointment and again at check out when I scheduled the epidural injections. Doctor Mak gets 5 starz a great Doctor and very nice man..The office staff on the other hand are extremely rude keeps u on hold for way to long and they seem to me very disgruntled
I find that everyone at Premier Pain is very professional, compassionate and caring. I have degenerative disc disease, which has affected various parts of my spine. 18 months ago, he diagnosed me with severe cervical disc disease which required almost immediate surgery, with excellent outcome. Dr, Mak also treats the facet joint disease of my lumbar sacral spine, which gives me long periods of relief. Recently, I developed severe pain in my left neck and arm. Dr mak ordered an MRI with and without contrast. I had a bad reaction to dye (severe dizziness and loss of balance.) He would not see me or talk on the phone - the message I got was he didn’t treat that. Meanwhile, until I found a doctor who would treat dizziness, I wasn’t even sure if it was the dye. Could have been from my very bad back - which he was treating. TOTAL lack of compassion and caring. Go to anyone else, avoid him.
