Took my 2018 Chevy Silverado to Chevy dealer belieing I had a transmission issue which may need a fluid flush and filter change. Mechanic took a Test drive with me a felt the shifting issue while a highway speeds .. they kept my truck for two days to see if they could find the issue. I was told the check the fluid and smelled the oil, on the $280 bill. I was told iit was a bad torque converter in the transmission which was replaced 25 K mile ago. We rely on our company trucks every single day to run our business, and downtime is not an option. Our truck was towed in on March 17th due to a failed oil cooler, and since then, it has been nothing but delays and frustration. Communication has been extremely poor. No updates, phone calls go unanswered, messages and emails are not returned. “I’ve had nothing but terrible experiences with the service department at Seaside Chevrolet. I’ve taken my car in multiple times, and every single time, it’s been a disaster. They never return my calls, they ignore my messages, and getting anyone on the phone is impossible. Absolutely unprofessional and frustrating. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.”
