Completely unethical practice. Lists time slots online to book appointments, confirms said appointment on the platform, then when you show up, you are told they cannot accommodate you, but they would be "penalized" if they cancel your appointment online. Well... of course they would?? Penalties like that are meant to disincentivize people/companies from canceling bookings excessively or falsely advertising open booking slots.
