The hold music at Premera Blue Cross is absolutely phenomenal - some of the best tunes in the game. However, on two occasions in the same phone call, I was forced to listen to the same pre-recorded spiel about how joining Availity could make the insurance verification/authorization process easier. I'm calling from a provider's office, we already have Availity. And then, when I was finally connected with someone, they stopped the conversation at one point to tell me about the benefits of joining Availity.
Worst company EVER. I wish I could give zero stars. Even though my doctor prescribed and attached pre authorization I can’t get life saving medication for my son. I call and call and am lied to, hung up on etc. When I asked to speak with higher authority and was told again and again they would say the same thing! When I asked if it would ever get approved I was told I’d just have to call in every day. I took a day off of work just to sit on hold. These people are garbage im fat and prediabetic and am trying to get healthy and fit and the won't cover the treatment and medication my doctor asked for these people should be forced to receive the same treatment that provide
