Dr. Kumar is moody to the point you have to ask the clerk at the desk (Maxine) what kind of mood is he in. Is he talking today or is he ok. Not patient oriented. Only takes a minute with you then files insurance at higher rate. I have been with my mother when she plainly told him something was wrong with her throat and he ignored her. I have been sick and told him and was ignored with you will be ok. He doesn't want to give medication to you.
I find Dr. Kumar to be an excellent physician. He has some days he is an in an out not very friendly but as long as he is a good Dr. I don't mind him being human. None of us are friendly every day. Not that he is rude, just quiet, efficient with his time, but still makes you feel as though he cares.
Dr. Kumar has been our physician since moving to the area in 2004. We have complete confidence in his doctoring and his decisions. I know that if I am not feeling well or having an asthma attack that I won't have to wait days to see him. His staff is wonderful about making sure that I am seen asap.
