My wife Jacky and I recently had our son on 8/14/24 at the hospital. We were at the birthing center from Tuesday 7am until Friday at approx 1pm. Unfortunately, we experienced every aspect of the unit from 36 hours of natural labor, to the operating room for a c section, to the NICU. The rooms are pretty roomy and it’s great that the baby is with us the entire time. The nursing staff and every Dr/ resident were above and beyond great. The staff was amazing, all the nurses and Drs are great, welcoming and friendly and of course caring. But asking a father in front of the mother after she gives birth if he wants a DNA test is wrong! That's a private talk between Dr and "father" putting a man on the spot like that in front of an emotional women is wrong and puts ppl in a very bad predicament. Yes we want a DNA test before we put our all into something that isn't actually ours. DNA discussion should be privately spoken about to each individual!!!
I had my baby in this hospital and the staff was kind and informative. I was very nervous but that made my delivery smooth and answered any question I had. Honorable mentions would be my nurses Brianna, Mckayla who literally made my delivery smooth.
