I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated by the office staff at Dr. Kurtom’s practice. Today, I called the office with a question regarding my prescription. From the moment my call was answered, I was met with unnecessary attitude. After calmly explaining my concern, I was placed on hold and then disconnected. Dr. Kurtom is this best! I had my annual physical today and as a type 1 diabetic she went out of her way to provide 3 free continues glucose monitors after I had mentioned the stress related to dealing with pharmacies and insurance companies. A wonderful early Christmas present!
I rarely write reviews for doctors’ offices, but I felt the need to share my experience. The staff here are professional and very kind, which I truly appreciate. However, the biggest issue is the way appointments are scheduled. They seem to book 20–30 patients for the same hour, which leads to long waits. If your appointment is at 9:45, expect to wait about 45 minutes before being called in—and then another 45 to an hour once you’re in the room.
