Please don't get this insurance. I highly do not recommend this. You're better off uninsured actually than having them as an insurer.
I was on my wife's plan, we paid our premiums only for PrefferedOne to say they won't cover my Dr bill because "I have other insurance" I don't, I have no idea where they got that idea, this was my only coverage. The letter said if we don't provide documents, which we can't since they don't exist, they'd assume they were wrong and cover it. Then we got a letter a few weeks later saying since we didn't provide the non existent documents they weren't covering it. So we are paying for nothing I guess?
Truly one of the most mismanaged insurance companies to exist. Awful customer service. Little to no communication when issues arise on your account, and when communication IS made it takes them six months to resolve the issue. The only explanation offered for that is "We work with THOUSANDS of people." Listen, if you have SO many people who pay as high of a monthly premium as I do, you better work on that communication and conflict resolution. It has not been a pleasure to work with this company, in any way, shape, or form.
They cover very little and are constantly looking for ways to cover even less. When I have called in with issues they will not take ownership for issues. Miserable service. I'm definitely switching plans next year.
I've never worked with a greedier and more profit before patient company . Constantly a hassle to get prescriptions filled and always having to spend my personal time doing thier job for them . Thoroughly disgusted. If I could do a zero star rating I would !
