So I went to look at what was supposed to be a "nearly new" Acid Green 1988 Scott pro mtb this evening. Turns out that means several dents in the frame and cracking in the paint along with fading. That said, I bought it anyway because we ended up with an agreeable definition of condition and price, and I scored a nearly new 88 Shimano XT drive train, including wheels and pedals.
