When I first came to Preferred Care Counseling in 2016/2017 I was very unwell. At this time of my life my mental health had not been treated, and I was experiencing acute symptoms of my mental illnesses. I can look back now, after two years in my recovery elsewhere, and understand how difficult my case must have been to treat. But I don't consider this a good enough reason to overlook what occurred. Pathetic. When you set up a appt whatever you do if they offer zoom a counseling meeting don't do it because they say they'll send you a email with a link but never do then they call you and tell you that you missed your appt and to go elsewhere. They try to say they called you about appts but the calls were rejected, you never really get phone calls from them. I know for a fact they never called my phone. Nothing but a joke with them.
The staff is great and the office is clean and full of light. The counselor put me at ease and was a great listener.
