The owners and caregivers at Preferred Care at Home cared for our mother, at home, for the last several months of her life. The attentiveness of the owners, Cormac and Justin, along with the skilled and loving care provided by the caregivers, made it possible for our Mom to stay in her home until the end. My mom moved in with me and my family somewhat unexpectedly right at the start of the school year. I’m incredibly grateful for the team at Preferred Home Health Care, especially Cormac, Simone, Jeana, Kathy, and Adega. They supported my dad at home during his final weeks, and I know that care and support meant a great deal to him and certainly to me during that time. The caregivers from Preferred Care at Home of Champlain Valley are absolutely outstanding. I contacted Cormac when we needed care unexpectedly after bringing my father home from a long hospitalization and he sprung into action. He was understanding, compassionate and patient.
