The quality of care is good but its very temporary. My son was released because he seemed "safe and stable." I begged them not to release him to manage his own follow ups. He has no phone or car. Of course he stopped taking his meds, no follow ups, stopped eating or drinking, became suicidal and violent to me when i stopped him from hurting himself. Hes back in Precourt. I pray there's a way to arrange transfer directly to longer term inpatient care. If they send him home, its a death sentence.
This place is honestly an abomination. I came here voluntarily straight from an inpatient medical hospital stay for health issues. I was having severe C-PTSD symptoms/flashbacks while inpatient at Vail Health and was told this place would be a great help for me to go to after being discharged from the regular hospital…one of the biggest lies I’ve ever been told in my life. This hospital offers outstanding care. The staff is amazing! They provide complete support in your journey toward a healthier mind, body, and spirit.
The amazing things I can say about this place ! This isn’t just a “mental hospital” this is a place of healing, kindness, and love . I can not thank the staff enough for the support they gave me . The way they healed me is something I will never forget , and something I will always tell other about !
