Thanks to Randy my summer was restored within a week. We were on vacation with our brand new pontoon that came with a crappy trailer. The launch had a steep decline and the inside lifting strake caught the “load guide” while pulling out of the water. The load guides are held on with two tiny screws and because of the lifting strakes the pontoons are not cylindrical. Did a great job on a tricky repair on my son's aluminum framed electric bike.
I brought my boat in, 17’ Lund. It had a 14” gash going down the main rib right below the gas tank. The previous owner put jb weld and some sort of caulking in to “seal” it and painted over it so I wouldn’t see it when I bought it. When I launched it for the first time it damn near sank in the 3 minutes it was in the water. I called and asked if he could weld it and the welds were beyond my expectations.
