I took family heirloom rings to have the prongs checked. These rings were handmade. One was platinum with a 2 k diamond and the other a diamond sapphire cocktail ring. They had been well looked after but since my mother had moved to Windsor she was not able to take the rings to the jeweller that had made them so we took them to precision.
