They are wonderful with my dog. My complaint is the price gouging and the constant changes they keep making to their prices and/or packages/memberships. We have been paying for services for 5 months that we never received in the membership(swag bag, "dicounts," only some pictures and not a picture each visit like it's supposed too, etc....). We had our 9lb, 15 year old dog groomed here and they cut her neck so bad she needed SIX STAPLES. The staff was very unapologetic and the vet was shocked that level of wound would happen during a grooming. I was very disappointed and worry about the same thing happening to other animals.

Truly disappointed in my border collies "grooming" .... I asked for my dog to get trimmed, if possible, get 1-1/2" (one and a half inches) taken off the coat. I came back to my dog with maybe 1-1/2" from the skin on my dog - and even at that, the cut was ragged, and uneven, with "chunks of hair" taken out of the back end leaving it looking like a small child took scissors to it - and when I asked about the cut, I got "oh, well she is a border collie and you know they have curly hair right?" Where your dog is tops – I am impressed by the efforts these folks go to, bringing show quality grooming and big city day care to rural SD. They care about the quality of products they offer. They listen (and keep notes) to the preferences of each owner. They call if something comes up (hot spots, excess dander, etc). I really feel burned about the bad comments on here because I know they are unwarranted. To each their own I guess. For me and my crew, Precious Pets rocks!

Grooming – We are writing in response to Mr. Park. I have already commented, but the comment doesn't show up unless you click on it. I tried to have a decent conversation with this man about this issue with his dog, but he wouldn't tell us anything pertinent. The only thing he could say was the F bomb. Horrible people – If you even remotely care about your animals, do NOT take them to this horrid place! I "used" to take my dog there. She had just gotten out of a cast for a broken leg, and I left her with the girl at the counter asking them to be very careful with her! I called about two hours later to check on how things were going, and got one of the owners on the phone...they knew absolutely NOTHING of what I had asked when I dropped my dog off. rude and lie about grooming – I took my yorkie here after hearing good things about the groomers. When I brought her in they seemed nice and asked questions about what I wanted done. I came back three hours later and my poor baby was BALD! They said she had knots. I brush her out everyday with a comb and make sure I get down to the skin so I KNOW she isn't matted. Great Hair Cut and Style – I took my dog in for a haircut and was very pleased with the results. They listened to my ideas and she looked great when I came to pick her up. I was worried they would try to cut her hair like a poodles or something, but I was very impressed..she even had cute little bows in the front of her hair!! I have already scheduled a return appointment and am bringing my other yorkie with too!

Forgetful, careless, rude – On the surface, this presents as a wonderful, top quality salon, but after that, it goes downhill. We used to use their boarding service and shuttle, but after several instances of "forgetting" our pet at their resort, and finding the food, bed and toys we had left to be shuttled with our dog to the kennel still at the salon - so that our pet went without them the whole weekend, I am extremely disappointed.
