I went to PMR because of their good reviews, and on their website, they say “We pay up to 40% higher than our competitors”. I thought this would be the place to try. I had an estimated offer between $1200-1500 already from an LA area jeweler for my diamond ring, but I was wondering if this company could offer me a higher price. I came into the PMR location on Tangerine/Thornydale store 1/27/22 as a walk in customer, as this is the closest location to my home off Tangerine Rd . I have been to this location in late 2021 and sold a solid 25K gold bullion coin. So I decided to get a quote on a few more items I had. My experience at this place was absolutely horrible. First they quoted a gold spot price that was well below the actual spot price at the time. Then they offered a ridiculously low amount for a premium gold coin (86% of spot). The clerk was very rude and when I complained, they asked me to leave. I sold the coin at another coin store up the street for a lot more (95% of spot). The difference in dollars was significant. I would not recommend PMR to anyone; look elsewhere.

Took some scrap gold we had been saving here as my regular guy was out of town. They were impressive with their x-ray gun that scanned the gold. But was disappointed when they only offered me $265.00 . We decided to wait until my regular guy was back in town and he gave me $578.00 for the exact same scrap gold. Not sure what to think but would never come back or recommend this place.
