called rogoz after a neighbor down the street had them do their roof and it looked good. they came out within a couple days to look at ours, walked the whole thing, took pictures and showed me where the wear was worst around the valleys and the chimney. estimate came in writing the same week which was a relief because im used to chasing contractors for paperwork. scheduling took about three weeks which was fine, they were upfront about that. day of, the crew was on the roof early, had the old shingles off by lunchtime. took ... read more
Rogoz did a full roof replacement on our two story and it turned out great. the new shingles look sharp,color matches what we picked out,and the ridge vents sit cleaner than the old setup. They flashed around the chimney properly,which the old guy didn't bother to do. Quality work.
Rogoz did a solid job on our roof replacement. new shingles look great and everything is tight around the vents and chimney. they were one of the better priced quotes i got around Batavia which helped make the decision easier. crew was fast and didnt leave a mess. i was a little worried about the weather pushing things back but they got it done on the day they said. overall just a straightforward experience with no surprises or weird costs.
got the whole roof replaced through Rogoz after a hail claim. insurance covered most of it which was nice but Rogoz actually helped with some of the back and forth on the adjuster paperwork which i did not expect. the old roof was original from 2001 so it was basically falling apart even before the storm hit. they went with GAF dimensional shingles, the weathered wood color, and added a ridge vent system because apparently the attic had zero ventilation before. They did a full tear-off and put on architectural shingles, the darker charcoal color we picked. The thing that stuck with me was how flat and clean the lines looked along the edges when they finished, like you could run your finger along the drip edge and it was perfectly straight. My old roof always had this wavy look to it so that was kind of wild to see.
