I just read reviews on Dr. Sateesh and simply can’t understand why he still is working at Corewell health. Many years ago I had a horrible experience with him very much the same as others wrote. I asked a question and he started yelling at me. As freaked out as I was to be treated like that I had the nerve to say I wasn’t going to be having the procedure. He became enraged and I left in tears. My primary doctor couldn’t believe it!! Stories that are so similar are numerous. Why is he still employed??????
I saw Dr.Sateesh for a recent colonoscopy, he was personable and nice. I had no issues with him at all. He did my colonoscopy because I needed to be put out more than at my regular gastro doctor’s office. Blodgett was the place I got sent. I had not met him before but he seemed genuine in his care for me. He performed the colonoscopy and EGD and the anesthesiologist explained what they would use. If I could give him zero stars I would. I was with my grandfather at an appointment for a endoscopy and they said it was a 3 month wait so we waited. They call the day before and day of trying to rush us to get in there earlier because of their cancellations. So we get in there and on the paper it says wait 3 hrs prior to your appointment to drink clear liquids and we would’ve been fine but because they rushed us in there 2 hours before our scheduled appointment time he couldn’t have the procedure done. Dr. Praveen Sateesh is an absolutely AWFUL person. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy on April 11, 2024 and wore a face mask (not unusual, especially in a busy outpatient facility). I requested the nurse who was assisting me wear one and she happily complied, offering to ask everyone on my team so I wouldn't need to do so, which was super kind. Welcome to the world of real life vampires of the worse kind. That financially bleed dry some of the most vulnerable human beings all in the name of greed. There isn't a more non transparent industry on the planet. After being ASSURED my colonoscopy would not have any out of pocket expenses and after getting my initial benefits explanation letter showing a procedure paid in full, I get a bill from the new Corewell criminal enterprise and Shateesh office that I owe them $984.00. a THIRD OF THE COST OF THE PROCEDURE.
