Dr. Patel was my cardiologist for about 4 years. At first I thought he was fine, but as time went on and I had related medical problems, he seemed less well informed and missed some crucial diagnoses that he should have caught. I would not recommend him.
Awful. He charged me for two consultations in the hospital which never occurred. He left me sitting in the hospital room 6 hours after tests ( so I was charged an extra day) and he never showed up to give me results or released me. Floor Dr finally did when he never showed up. Did a follow up visit a few days later and asked for test results, was brushed off with no details. I am a retired science professor whose university trained medical professionals. He would have failed our classes.
Worst medical experience ever. I mentioned serious breathing issues. Not his field go back to Pulmonologist. My pulmonologists recommend a cardiologists. My son and brother are physicians and found this appalling . I left his office barely breathing. NOT WHAT YOU SAY IT'S HOW YOU SAY IT
I have been seeing Dr. Patel for 8 years. He has taken every step to be proactive with me in my heath care. I trust him, respect him and enjoy our visits.
I could not be more pleased with Dr. Patel and the treatment he provided me. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. He explained everything to me, with confidence and self-assuredness. He gave me confidence I was in good mans. What a departure from my previous providers. He took necessary measures to solve my issues promptly. Proof is that I am still here.
The doctor spent a total of 5 minutes with me. Told me that we needed to schedule a ECHO test, which cost $225, and charged me $223 for his 5 minutes of time. When I presented this issue with the office staff, I was directed to 3 different people all of whom would not help and did not offer any suggestions on how we can rectify my issue. I feel that this was to much money when I was in the office longer than the doctor.
Dr. Patel is very caring and makes sure that I understand everything that is going on with me as well as any procedure I may be having done. He eases my fears as much as they can be eased and does his best to make sure I'm smiling before he leaves my side. I don't trust any other cardiologist with my care.
