He told me it's perfectly normal to poop yellow for over 2 months. He also tried to poke holes in my story. After telling him all my issues with taking PPI antacids and weird problems with nocturia, he then told me that they are perfectly safe. I was told by another doctor to stop taking them. He then pushed my colonoscopy back another month. Run from this Doctor and find another quickly!
The office staff are totally aroghant. They cancelmy appointment and tell me to find another doctor. Then I get inundated with sppointment reminders, and this questionaire on service received. Numerous phone calls to check if my origonal appointment was canceled or not have gone unanswered. This department and staff are as unprofessional as the can be. And very disturbing they treat patients with a need like they did. ITS A SHAME...especially coming from an iinstituion like UAB.
Dr. Patel treated me for H. Pylori after a colonoscopy. I had to undergo 4 different bouts of antibiotics before I was told it was eradicated. I was recently diagnosed the virus is back. My current doctor asked why I had not continued to see Dr. Patel for the tests to make sure it had not reappeared. I wasn't apprised that it was necessary. Evidently, he didn't care about my future health or didn't know.
Excellent. We had great confidence in Dr Patel. We had to deal with an urgent situation that caused us concern and anxiety. When we had the appointment with Dr Patel for an evaluation we felt very reassured. The procedure went well. Dr Smith, the anesthetist, was also excellent. The nurses at Morrow Tower endoscopy center were supremely good. We experienced such kindness and consideration from the whole team. Thank you.

Made an appointment in October 2018 for January 03,2019 then was called to say Doctor Patel could not keep this a appointment need to more it to March. I was going to this Doctor because my GP could not tell me why my Liver levels are abnormal. I don’t think this office is interested in the patients needs. Something is wrong with the liver 5 months is a long time to wait for the consultation appointment. I found a Doctor to see me in Dec 2019.
