Stopped for dinner here on my way to Albuquerque. Ordered the 6-oz. filet. I’ve never had a more perfect piece of beef. I say this as someone who has frequented some famous steakhouses in San Francisco, Chicago, and Boston during my career. Prices are not out of line, considering the quality of the food.
Nice and relaxed atmosphere - I had a great server that was super attentive throughout the evening with refills and check ins. Only thing that was disappointing was that my steak was overcooked, far off from medium rare - to the restaurants credit my server offered to replace it but I didn't want to wait for a new steak, and even the well done steak was very flavorful and tender. Highly recommend for the service, great staff and good tasting food.
Fun place to eat yummy food
Excellent food and service; chatted with the proprietor. This is located in a building that was built in 1910 and served as a train depot until the 70s. This dining experience has been the best of our trip.
Terrible experience. Sticky floors. Sticky table. There was a Hair in my salad. The waitress even saw me take a bite and pull the hair out. She just said “uh oh” and brought me a new fork. My filet was bad, as in bad meat. No apologies until the very end. So uninviting.
