My granddaughter successfully completed 2 PHP programs. She was referred back to PHP for a 3rd time this year and was discharged and referred to residential after a few days. Everyone in Brooklyn Park was great. The only complaint I have is with Gabby the social worker. I reached out several times for guidance once my granddaughter was discharged and never received a call back. Because of this, I question the social workers concern with the patients she is treating. (Note: I was here many years ago as a teen and things might've changed but I will still write my review for my experience) All it is here is just group therapies and interactive activities. They won't allow contact with your peers outside the PHP hospital even after discharge. You found a friend? Don't get too attached to them. The points program is a scam and the staff will use it against the kid to make them behave. I'm going to keep this very short as I have work soon, but my child has expressed neglect from Prairie care staff regarding her self-harm tendencies and relapsing. They didn't take they're word into account because they would not express the hardships they'd be going through outside of Prairie care mentally. making the staff pay less attention to her and her needs. I am deeply disappointed in the Prairie care staff and therapeutic methods used on my ward. I would say that her mental health declined within the months they have been going. The staff never took her SH warnings seriously she then ended up relapsing into self-harming again at the facility. They then proceeded to remove her from Prairie care for doing something they were supposed to help her with.
