I went to Dr. Gilles seeking help after a trauma-induced episode. Instead of supporting me, she repeatedly asked, “but how do you know it happened?” implying she didn’t believe my experience. Instead of addressing the trauma, she misdiagnosed me with psychosis and put me on antipsychotics, while stopping my ADHD medication without explanation. I attended the IOP program here, and as much as the people are amazing, I would not recommend it. I attended the program for 6 weeks. Around 4 or 5 weeks in I was told I was most likely getting extended another week or so. This was unsure, I will admit, but I was told I could count on at least getting extended in my stay so I would not have a gap in care between this program and my next. I like my doctor but not the parking lot. I have never been more upset in my entire life practically then when I left today and I couldn't find my car because I couldn't figure out which parking lot to go out to because the original parking lot I parked in didn't have a door you could walk into. It was really confusing. When people make an appointment the staff should tell people which side of the building to park on!!!!! WARNING - Not actually accepting new patients but has no problem wasting your money and time before telling you that! We were referred to Prairie Care after two serious incidents with our son that resulted in hospital stays and him receiving medication from the ER, and involvement from the crisis team. We submitted the information through the website as directed and then never received a call back.
