My 13 yo completed the 4 week php(partial hospitalization program) at their Brooklyn park location. I was nervous when I read the reviews. But trusted our pediatrician who recommended. I am happy to report that this was a wonderful program for us. My kiddo has learned a lot about himself, we've got a few new diagnosis and was able to start some meds under the direct care of a psychiatrist and therapist. I had gone here and thought it did me so well. Groups can get a bit repetitive, but the staff was amazing. Between the techs and therapists, I had an overall great experience. I will say their food options are not good, and for someone who struggles to eat well with my mental health issues, I was very bummed out during meal times. I’ve been here a few times, once on child unit, and twice on adolescence unit. When I tell you it was one of the worst experiences of my life I mean it. Iv been told super out of pocket things from techs, nurses, and psychiatrists. While on child I was held on a unit with a violent kid and they didn’t move him cause “He has already messed up you’re guys treatment and we don’t wanna mess with other kids too.” But here is some things that happened within my last stay.
