They're the best option for anyone under 35 I know the food sucks but that's not why your getting help! Best phyc ward I've ever been too!
The floor staff is amazing, but the psych and therapist for the mountain ward actively damaged my mental well-being through financial instability threats and lies about discharge dates. They refused to listen to my answers to their questions, instead telling me how I felt (opposite of what I told them), and then lied about my discharge. The psychiatrist figured out I was bipolar pretty quick and got it medicated ASAP. Things have been great since then.
I had a great stay that helped me a bunch on my recovery
My first time there I was put in quarantine for a week, not allowed to shower, and all I did was be on a nintendo switch. the kicked me out 2 days after my quarantine, even with parental protest for me to stay, they did nothing for me. My last time there, they had someone draw my blood who didn't know how to draw blood. I could handle needles fairly well, but after that I got trauma from the nurse who drew my blood nearly making me pass out and now I cry anytime I get a blood draw or injection.
