The provider was very helpful upon discharge getting my daughters meds figured out with my insurance. The visiting area could really use a deep cleaning especially since it’s where the patients eat. Concerned that they aren’t able to meet the individualized needs of each patient with the number of patients they take on in one area. Overall a safe place.
I came here years ago when i was in desperate need of help. My father brought me here and I can't thank you all enough for helping me! The food, rooms, and just building overall is great. The schedules for homework, therapy, and socialization was great too. The staff were also super friendly and caring. It felt like a vacation that helped me escape from my problems and it genuinely helped me become better. I always think back to my time that I spent at this place and its always positive.
Before going to PSJ I abused alcohol and other substances daily for 10 years. As my addiction progressed so did suicidal thoughts. Eventually I attempted suicide and by the grace of God I failed and was sent by ambulance to PSJ hospital. After being stabilized with therapy and medication I went to PHP where I truly received the help I needed to recover my life. I went there in 2022, I’m 21 now it was the best experience If you wanna have no supervision, otherwise it was horrible, I made a lot of memories and met a lot of people, mom died of cancer so I was not in the right mind set. The main doctor didn’t understand what I was trying to say it’s almost like he was ignoring me, and I was under age in with the adults, I was in there for 39 days. Not recommended
