I had a great experience at Prairie Ridge; from the doctors, the nurses and the cafeteria. Their diagnosis was swift and accurate. I had gone to St. Mary's ER in Madison and discharged me TWICE without diagnosing fluid in my lungs and broken ribs that required chest tube placement. My only complaint is that they used an out of network ambulance to transfer me to the UW Trauma team, so dealing with that bill now. Don't ever ride with Ryan Bros if you can help it!

I live in Sun Prairie and go to the clinics there. If needed, maybe I would go to the Urgent Care or hospital. Though, the reviews look pretty bad for that. I'm considering changing my healthcare from there since I have a new insurance. I did get a bill from Prairie Health Clinics in Columbus. I tried to fight it, but didn't win. I even wrote an appeal, and it was still denied. They need to let us know if a specific test is not in covered by insurance. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I was there due to an accident and I was experiencing high blood pressure and severe dizziness. I arrived at 6:05 pm and was not seen until 10:30. Everyone who arrived after me was called. I inquired about it and was told no rooms were available although I watched patients leave and I was the only person in the lobby. if i could give negative stars i would. my mothers blood levels are critically low, and her doctor said it’s a medical emergency. she showed up at the er twice already and they told her she has to have her doctor send an order, which already happened! they had her wait 4 days before even contacting her about when she could make an appointment at the transfusion center. her organs could start failing at any time, yet when they finally called her back they said they are refusing to give her a blood transfusion because she has ... read more
