Buyer beware! Since 2014, we've lost $10,754 PLUS $1000-1500 per year for shoddy maintenance of a prairie. After six years of watching Prairie Restoration actually plant a diverse selection of plants, then come back and poison those exact plants (because the workers don't know the differences between the plants, and Ron Bowen, the owner knows this!), after six years of NO hand weeding (anyone who knows prairies knows hand weeding is a HUGE part of the process, particularly for the first three years), after six years of lacka... read more

What a find! It’s a lovely gift and garden shop that also has greenhouses with native flowers, grasses and trees. Definitely worth a stop!
We came for prairie family fun day 2016. Super fun for kids&adults. My daughter can't wait to go again. Friendly staff everywhere. Awesome gift shop. Raptor show, art and crafts, animals, food, & friends. Great job Prairie Restorations! :-)
