In close proximity to a gas station, food, and rest area. Friendly staff. Clean room. Great price. Good breakfast
Outside appearances are great but the rooms have air gaps around the doors allowing insects to enter, First night spent in a room that smelt very foul of dog and human. Next 3 nights spent in a clean room. But shower curtain would not stay up, light and air gap all around door allowing spiders to intrude.
As other travelers have noted, the price to quality ratio here is amazing and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I doubt Evanston has better to offer in this regard. The rooms are very large for a motel. The room was clean, except for a few old stains on the carpet and some rust on the bathroom tile, which is to be expected for this older building. Mattresses were new and very comfortable. I did not encounter any bed bugs, or other bugs, but I am sure that if I did, the kind staff would have moved me to another room ... read more
BEST little cute motel in town or anywhere near by.. Due to no fault of the motels end Booking.com is ridiculously overbooking folks to hotels/motels. Phyllis who was apologetic got us into a room for the following day and the rooms have a super cute cabin feeling to them and also huge. Definitely worth the $ and I will only be staying there over any hotel/motel anytime I'm in town. They are even pet friendly with a little grass run for dogs. THANX so much again.. We'll be back 🤩
