A true Wichita assisted living facility (we are not owned by a large, out-of-town corporation), we have become known for our Zero Deficiencies rating since 2011 by the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (one of only three in Wichita to be recognized). We're proud to be the only local assisted living facility to accomplish this achievement over that time.

RecommendedWe moved here in 2013 and have never regretted our decision! Since that time, my spouse has passed away, but I have never felt lonely or alone because of wonderful neighbors and friends who live here. We all support and care for each other, almost like family. This is such a loving and caring community!
I moved to Prairie Homestead in 2011 and I truly love the community. We have a lot of fun times together, and we support each other when a little extra care is needed. It is like having an extended family.
