Well, the doctors may be well recommended but the office staff is terrible. If you have to have a preauthorization from an insurance company and I'm sure they KNOW it can take 2 weeks, you don't send it in 2 business days before the appointment and tell the patient, your estimate may be higher because we couldn't do our job. I'm not showing up for a test that by someone's laziness I may have to pay for. So the first time I got an appointment within two weeks, this time I have to wait almost 2 months!! SO RIDICULOUS. I am canceling my appointment on Monday, January 29th at 2:45 pm. I called every extension at your office and was on hold for over 40 minutes. Since you will not answer the phone, this review serves as my appointment cancelation. Additionally, I emailed Prairie Cardiovascular corporate with the same information.
I had a heart attack and a triple bypass five years ago. I had complications after surgery and was in a coma for five days. Since that time I have been to the ER and hospital stays four times due to cardiac issues. In each ofy appointments with the doctor or his nurse I reported cardiac distress. Finally last July Dr.Khan ordered a CT scan of my carotid artery in my neck. Ten months later Dr. Al Dallow gets me into the cath lab, finds that the artery is 99% blocked.
