The staff and facilities at Prairie Dog are absolutely amazing! This was the first time I've blown glass outside of my regular studio and it was a joy! Pat was very accommodating, allowing me to use the shop's tools and color! I was able to rent time at a reasonable cost and work (mostly) independently, but I think everyone in the shop must have brought me a punty at some point today! Cannot recommend this studio enough! We had a wonderful experience with Pat, who was knowledgeable, patient and gracious. He worked extremely well with our group's age range from 14 - 72, not an easy task! Pat geared his instruction to each person's ability level and he couldn't have been more kind. He helped provide a memory we won't soon forget and our glass pieces are gorgeous. I definitely suggest a visit, especially with your family. We will certainly be back the next time we are in Santa Fe.
Prairie Dog Glass is an experience you'll never forget. My family had a once in a lifetime experience making our own glass pieces for Christmas today and we'll always share this memory together. We're so excited about the pieces we made and accomplished a lot in an hour! We bought a piece from the store too and loved picking out a perfect chile for our grandparents! The team is so great, wonderful people!! I'd give 6 stars if I could :)
We paid for a class and got 3 beautiful pieces of glass. Perfect suveniers for our vacation.
Great place to experience something new. You do most of the actual formation of the glass.
